With the current administration rearranging international relations, China is a key issue with many risks and many issues in play. One issue is FRAND in China - in particular, how FRAND has been mistranslated by the courts and how counsel should exercise greater oversight. There are also issues on bilateral science cooperation - where the U.S. recently renewed the bilateral Science and Technology Agreement with China. Additional issues revolve around the future of private and public science and technology cooperation with China, where the current administration is expected to cancel the agreement. These and other issues will be discussed.
